What if there was a God, and he WASN'T anything like we have ever imagined... Humor me for a second here...
What if there WAS a God, and he was just like a normal person? Just blessed with almighty powers! Of course it would make sense to let everyone believe that he is non-existent and just control everything and have fun from up there! Like, what if when every time you are surrounded by a lot of people and trying to fart without making a sound, IT's GOD who puts in that sound!!! You know... With his giant, entire-universe-controlling audio-video mixer... Maybe you HAVE been successful in passing one quietly every time guys...! It's just him, God...! He finds it hilarious...! You know... He loves things like making you say something really stupid, when you are trying to be all witty and funny and charming in front of your crush...
You know... It's possible that it is God who's screwing up MS Dhoni's elaborate, well thought-out plans of "taking a game till the last overs and then trying to make it rain fours and sixes"... (Not talking about IPL of course, there he actually manages to do it...) You know, like it happened in that movie with Naseeruddin Shah and Shahrukh Khan, where Naseer is an invisible spirit, helping Shahrukh's team to win a cricket match... What if God is standing behind MS and before every delievery, he just tugs on his bat for two seconds before actually letting him hit the ball...! And we've been blamig Dhoni's reflexes being slower... And calling him stupid for batting like a warm-up Test match till the 49th over....
Hey, what if... God was the one in actual control of the scripts of ALL the TV shows in the world, including our previously-beloved Game of Thrones? What if God let David and Dan create an amazing show for 6 years, before taking matter into his own hands? You know, he just put everything in the script which was not foreshadowed earlier, sped up the script to 2X (like you do with NPTEL lectures), and just wrote everything making sure that it makes all the previous seasons' buildups pointless... (And you know, I must admit, he actually managed to do a pretty decent job of it...! I, for one, never imagined it was possible to screw up GOT so badly...). For all we know, David and Dan are as clueless about this worthless piece of crap, which also goes by the name of 'Game of Thrones Season-8'...! They probably don't even have any idea why they wrote what they wrote! Plus they have to deal with the humiliation of disappointing so many fans...! You ever think about that???!
And finally, maybe it's God who wipes the memory of the people in my PG, after they use the toilet... Otherwise, who can forget to flush, EVERY... Single... Time!!! (And why do "I" always have to be the one to... you know... "witness it all")?
I don't know, it just seemed like a likely possibility to me... It would explain so many things, really...!
